Okay, einen Nachschlag noch...

Ach je, vor ein paar Tagen dachte ich noch, dass nur noch die inneren Radläufe....: Nun habe ich die verrosteten Partien herausgetrennt und es stellte sich heraus, dass zumindest rechts doch auch der äußere Radlauf fällig ist. Ich hatte schon für den inneren Radlauf bei Ebay ein recht gut erhaltenes Blech ersteigert (1€, wirklich!), glücklicherweise ist daran auch eine gut erhaltene Partie des Kotflügels. Auf dem Foto das herausgetrennte Blech und das schon vorbereitete Ersatzteil. Ein anderes Foto unten zeigt die derzeitige große Leere... und die Spachtelmengen auf dem Kotflügel sind auch zu erahnen!

Oh dear, a few days ago I thought the outer body was finished...: Cutting out the bad areas from the inner wheel arch i had to realize that at least the right hand side needs a new panel on the outer wheel arch, too. I already could obtain quite a good inner section on Ebay (1€, it's true!), now also it's outer part will serve as a repair panel. The picture demonstrates both the rusty old and the repaired  new part. Another picture below shows the big hole in the body... can you imagine the masses of putty on the wing?
